What’s new in the art world seems to be yesterday’s news once again, as Mirek Klabal wins for the sixth year in a row, Most Organic Art Dealer 2006. Our beloved Fine Art dealer, Mr. Klabal, two days after having sold yet another Marc Chagall (his third in six months-I and the Village, one of the early surrealist paintings by the French artist which was painted in oil and presents various dreamy states and puts much emphasis on the importance of nature).
Now, Klabal is flying high, only two weeks after being summoned for his prestigious award, he has retreated to California’s Palm Desert. Staying at the exclusive resort, Napa, Klabal is enjoying the summer months with his family and friends. “Soaking up the rays and watching the guests flock to Klabal’s cabaña is so charming.” Says one of Napa’s grounds workers. “Even though it’s about 110 degrees out here, [Klabal] is still making friends.”
If you’re wondering what the relevance of Mirek’s private life has on the public, you probably haven’t been keeping up with the art world. Interestingly enough, Klabal has been around for over thirty years and his reputation for success is becoming more and more prevalent throughout the United States and Europe.
